I first read Good Omens in the fifth grade. I have re-read it at least 5 times since then. :)

The wit, the characters, the excellent use of footnotes, the plot, the irreverence captivated me from the beginning. I also love that I seem to discover something new every time I read it. Basically everything about it turned me into a complete fangirl.

Fic: A Precise and Accurate History of Monday, Eleven Years Later and Be Ye Therefore Merciful.
Art: This and the rest of Linnpuzzle's Good Omens works are fantastic.

I've drawn a couple of quick sketches. Mainly of Aziraphale.

One of my favorite quotes: "God moves in extremely mysterious, not to say, circuitous ways. When did you first read Good Omens?
I'm a huge Neil Gaiman fan, and I wanted to read all of his works. I can't exactly remember when I read it, but it's been a few years now.

What about Good Omens grabbed your attention and turned you into a fan?
Plot, of course. Sense of humor. I love all of the character. Everything, really.

Any Good Omens fanfiction or fanart recommendations?
No, sorry. I'm lame.

Have you written any fanfiction or drawn any fanart about Good Omens?

Favorite character(s) in the book?
Aziraphale and Crowley. I loved the scenes when they interacted.

Favorite quotes from the book?
Mr Young hadn't had to quiet a screaming baby for years. He'd never been much good at it to start with. He'd always respected Sir Winston Churchill, and patting small versions of him on the bottom had always seemed ungracious."

When did you first read Good Omens?
About 4 years ago, I'd read tons of Terry Pratchett and I was just getting into Sandman, and well a paperback seemed less of an epic investment than a comic book series.

What about Good Omens grabbed your attention and turned you into a fan?
Probably the vulture following War around and dying of greasy denigration...either that or actually the delivery man.

I read an excellent Pepper/War story recently.

I'm afraid its all about Azriphale and Crowley.

- I don't remember exactly when I first read it, but probably sometime in high school - that was when I discovered both Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett.

- CROWLEY AND AZIRAPHALE AND THEIR ADORABLENESS.

- Everything by afrai, without question.

What about Good Omens grabbed your attention and turned you into a fan? Crowley. Seriously, the demon rocks. And as I got older, I was sure that he and Aziraphale had something going on, beyond the whole "trying to stop the apocalypse" thing.

Years ago, but I don't remember exactly. I've re-read it twice, and I think I'm due for another re-read soon.

What about Good Omens grabbed your attention and turned you into a fan?
It's just so funny in such a clever way. And the characters are engaging. It's, like, Neil and Terry combining their powers in THE BEST POSSIBLE WAY. Also, you can't really go wrong with angels and demons and the apocalypse, at least where I'm concerned.

Any Good Omens fanfiction or fanart recommendations?
Yes, actually! I just recently listened to the podfic of Tea and Scones by moonlettuce, a fabulous Good Omens/Supernatural crossover. (Which I should really go and leave feedback for, oops.)

I did some fanart back in the day, but I don't think it's online any more, which is probably for the best.

There are so many good ones, but I don't have the book with me right now. Off the top of my head, I've always been extremely fond of the "sauntered vaguely downward" bit.

Well, an online friend recced it to me, and it sounded interesting. Also, I'd seen fanart by Linnpuzzle and just wanted to read it. And once I started, I was sold.

No, haven't had the time yet. But I will definitely draw for GO at some point, and maybe even write fics.

What about Good Omens grabbed your attention and turned you into a fan?
It wasn't until much later that I got into GO fandom, it was someone else's fanfiction that reminded me how much fun I'd found the book. I re-read it and then started poking around on livejournal for other people who'd enjoyed it and had deep and not-so-deep thoughts.
